I wish there was a way to give this business less than star. What a horrible experience I had there, it was horrific to say the least. I went there to get my hair lightened and I walked out looking like a damn skunk with some of my original dark color left towards the front of my head and a real bad highlight job straight through the middle. The first thing I said to the hairstylist was that I did not want any brassy orange in my hair. Guess what color I ended up with as my main color. Yup ORANGE! Then the highlights turned out yellow and since it was closing time they neglected to add a toner to bring down the harsh gold. It was simply a mess. I also walked out with all my original grays both on the top of my scalp and around my hairline. It may have been the quality of the color they use because while I did see the color being applied to the grays it didn't take, so yeah probably cheap color. On top of that the hair cut was so rushed it was left choppy and uneven in the front, I had to fix it myself at home. Finally to add insult to injury I had to offer to dry and style my own hair at home after feeling rushed. The total cost for my hair disaster $197.00, sickening yes. I had this same process done correctly in Jersey for $60.00, and it included a cut and style. Oh yeah while doing my hair one of the girls had the nerve to ask me if I'd be interested in getting a Brazilian hair treatment that cost over $300.00, it's suppose to make it easier to blow out your hair and also repair it. I don't know who their trying to kid but I've never heard of any straightening process that helps repair hair. I wish I had read the other comment before making an appointment. I hope others will use my miserable experience to their advantage. Trust me spend your money elsewhere, or you'll regret it big time. If possible go into Scranton or even better Jersey, because one thing I noticed while living in Hawley these past two years is that all the businesses in this area are real good at bleeding their clientle dry while producing inferior product.

I have to say I was very disappointed with the quality of work at Utopia, especially for the price. The actual salon is quite a beautiful space. However, the consultant who worked on me didn't listen to my requests nor did she look at the sample pictures I brought with me. She burned my forehead with the curling iron on the very first curl and then dropped the curling iron down my arm halfway through the styling. I doing a run through for my wedding. I had asked for natural makeup and ended up with lots of sparkly eyeshadow and heavy eye liner. The cost for the disappointing run through was $120. I cannot comment on the spa services because I did not utlize those services, however I would not recommend them for wedding hair or makeup.
